The Access Management team will be responsible for overseeing the overall access (both ingress and egress) of people and vehicles at the stadium during the operational period.
The Access Management Volunteers will play an integral role in creating a safe and secure environment by supporting the on-site security- and access team to validate the entry processes. The volunteers will also help for troubleshooting in key areas of the stadium and will provide general wayfinding information to all target groups to ensure a smooth and timely ingress and egress of the stadium. IT knowledge, e.g. create Power Point Presentations and to be able to work with a tablet, should be an important ability.

The Accreditation team provides accreditation passes that grant holders access to special areas that are not accessible to the general public. Different working parties involved, such as referees, players, officials, media representatives, volunteers, service providers, suppliers and sponsors, may receive different accreditation passes depending on their role.
Accreditation Volunteers are the first point of contact for people who require accreditation. They will welcome the selected visitors, produce personalised access cards and provide accreditations to them. In addition to it, the volunteers are also responsible for checking data and issuing accreditations on short notice.

The UEFA Anti-Doping team will deliver a comprehensive doping control testing programme at UEFA competitions. The programme aims to protect the physical, emotional, and financial investment of players, officials, and spectators by ensuring a drug-free tournament.
The Anti-Doping Chaperone Volunteers have a great responsibility to be carried out in a professional manner. They will notify one of the players selected for a doping control and accompany him from the time he is notified until the doping test is complete.

The Broadcaster Services team will be responsible for ensuring that the match is broadcasted to spectators all over the world.
Broadcaster Unilateral Services Volunteers will support the Unilateral Services Teams/ Broadcast Liaison Officers helping them to deliver broadcast services and facilities to rights-holding broadcast partners.
The Broadcaster Information team will be a first point of contact for Broadcast Partners upon arrival at the International Broadcast Centre (IBC) in Leipzig and will provide them with information on TV production and booking matters, as well as general tournament and tourist information to UEFA EURO 2024.
Broadcaster Information Volunteers will support the Broadcaster Information team in the management of the information desk at the IBC in Leipzig, helping them to deliver outstanding service towards the UEFA Broadcast Partners.

The Ceremonies team will create and implement the Ceremonies Programme setting the mood for UEFA events, offering a warm and exciting welcome from UEFA and the host city to the fans, teams and millions of viewers worldwide.
Ceremony Volunteers will attend long training days and hard rehearsals to be part of the choreographical Ceremony in the stadium before each match providing a memorable experience for the fans.

The aim of the Concessions and Catering project is to facilitate a quality catering provision for a variety of clients including General Public Spectators, UEFA Staff, Volunteers, Host Broadcast Staff, Youth programme, Match Officials, Teams, Media and selected suppliers.
The Concessions & Catering Volunteers will assist the Venue Concessions & Catering team to guarantee smooth delivery of the services throughout the tournament, by ensuring the access control for the daily EURO bistro catering services, beside additional supporting administrative, operational and hands-on tasks on and around matchdays.

Volunteer Drivers contribute to a smooth-running transportation system by driving guests from/to all official locations according to schedules in a safe, professional and friendly manner, being aware of leaving a first and last positive impression of the event.

The Event Transport team is responsible for the planning and delivery of a high-level transport services during the event.
Volunteers will support the Event Transport team by checking the availability of transport facilities, ensuring that daily checks are carried out on vehicles and supporting the management of resources.

Welcome and Info Volunteers are the first contact for visitors arriving in and moving around the city during the tournament.
The main goal of the Welcome and Info Volunteers is to support visitors by answering questions and giving information about public transport/key locations and events in the city during UEFA EURO 2024.

The Fan Zone is the most important area in the City Centre during the UEFA EURO 2024.
Volunteers are going to welcome fans from all over the world, give information, advice and provide support where help is needed. Volunteers will be the visible “faces” of the Host City.

The Guest Management and Protocol team is responsible for the delivery of various levels of service to all UEFA VIP Programme guests, such as the football family, commercial partners, the local organising committee, the teams competing and governmental and royal representatives. The team takes care of welcome services, venue operations in the UEFA VIP areas at all events, and all ticketing and protocol matters.
Guest Management Volunteers are essential for the smooth delivery of the guest experience. They will be the first and main point of contact for these guests, will welcome them at airports, hotels or stadiums, provide them with information about the tournament and the host cities, and handle their questions and requests.
Volunteers needed in this area of application: < 40 volunteers per host city
The Hospitality Production team is in charge of the development, implementation and delivery of hospitality, catering and entertainment services for various target groups, such VIPs, commercial partners and corporate hospitality guests.
Hospitality Volunteers will help the Hospitality Production team by supporting on-site Hospitality preparations ahead of matchdays and assist with general operational activities to ensure the best possible service for all target groups.

The Information and Communications Technology (ICT) team delivers all ICT services (LAN, Wi-Fi, printing, and walkie-talkies) inside and outside the stadium to all target groups, as well as providing end-user support to them.
ICT Volunteers will help the UEFA ICT Support team to provide the highest levels of service and support to users. They will assist with ICT support operations and help users of ICT services (the internet, UEFA applications, printers, radios, standard Microsoft Office products, etc.).

Marketing Operations takes care of the implementation of the stadium and host city marketing rights granted to commercial partners. It also manages all related communication with sponsors and other appointed affiliates and assist official sponsors with their on-site activation programmes.
Volunteers will support the day-to-day tasks of the Venue Marketing teams on-site, with various tasks in preparation for marketing activities, ensuring that the stadium remains free of all non-approved commercial branding.

The Match Organisation team’s main task is to organise the match and all services related to the sporting aspects to the highest international level and according to UEFA regulations, to contribute greatly to the overall image of the competition and reflect positively on the quality of the match.
Match Organisation Volunteers will assist the Match Organisation team with the preparation and running of each match, including activities such as the official training sessions the day before the match, meetings ahead of the matches and the management of the competition area. Volunteers will also take on various administrative tasks, help set up the dressing rooms and assist with match material.

The Media Operations and Services team is responsible for providing media representatives with the best possible working conditions, including media accreditation, booking and information services.
The Volunteers will support the operation of the media areas, by assisting with the set-up of the media facilities (furniture, display of key information), welcoming the press and media representatives, supporting them in any organisational or technical issues. As well they will support the photographer operations, both in the media hub or photographer working areas.

The signage team takes care of the production and installation of all branding elements that form part of the stadium and other locations dressing (for all UEFA target groups, TV, media and hospitality). They also implement the EURO-specific wayfinding concept and deliver signage rights for UEFA partners, especially LED pitch perimeter board advertising and media backdrops.
Signage Volunteers will assist the Signage team during the set-up process at the stadium and other locations helping with matchday activities such as the morning signage check, the fine-tuning of stadium bowl branding, and the setting up and removal of the players’ carpet and arch.
The Logistics team manage the venue offices and the delivery of general staff services at the main UEFA offices (Venue Logistics) and at the Broadcast Compound (Broadcast Logistics)
Logistics Volunteers will carry out general administrative tasks, assist with the set-up of rooms and coordination of break stations, including buying and replenishing supplies. They will also support staff and teams with their travel requirements from hotel to venue and inter-city moves.

Social Media Volunteers support the Volunteer Management Team in capturing photos and videos to describe the atmosphere in the city during the UEFA EURO 2024, which could be used for Social Media or Press issues.
The Creation of creative content for the various social media channels is the main task. This may involve implementing own ideas and existing trends.

The Sustainability project concentrates sustainability activities within corresponding projects involved in UEFA EURO 2024, including focus areas such as environment, diversity & inclusion, solidarity, good governance, health & well-being.
Sustainability Volunteers will contribute to a more accessible, barrier-free and sustainable event. They will be asked to support target group persons with disabilities and special needs as well as to assist with the audio-descriptive commentary service.
Volunteers in this area will be also providing information and supporting in the environmental actions of the event

The Technical Services and Overlay team manages the planning, provision and implementation of services and temporary infrastructure requested for such a major sports event. Sub-projects within this area relate to the power supply, water supply, temperature control, sound system and giant screens, venue TV, radio frequencies, and temporary infrastructure.
Technical Services Volunteers will support the Technical Services and Overlay team in setting up and monitoring the temporary infrastructure as well as providing logistical support and carrying out unexpected ad hoc tasks.

The Ticketing project is responsible for securing and facilitating the overall access, ingress and egress of spectators at each venue by supporting ticketing and access.
Ticketing Volunteers will assist the Ticketing team around and at the stadium, at the security perimeters and at the ticketing facilities. They will primarily be activating tickets, providing information and directional guidance, will provide customer services in accordance with the ticketing policy and help to enhance the customer experience for the event. They will also be heavily involved with the on-site operation and mobile ticketing process, solving mobile ticketing issues (troubleshooting) at the Ticketing Centre nearby the venue.

The Venue Management project leads the planning, preperation and implementation of efficient operations at the UEFA EURO 2024 venues in order to deliver the 51 matches of the tournament.
Venue Management Volunteers support the Venue Manager team in their daily tasks, assisting with the venue’s handover and hand back procedures and with the preparations of venue management meetings.

The Venue Medical Operations team is responsible for securing and facilitating the overall access, ingress and egress of spectators, guests and staff as well as the care of the medical teams on-site.
Venue Medical Volunteers will assist the medical team on-site, in any situation which may occur with spectators or staff, by facilitating communication and translations.
The CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Campaign Volunteers will be part of the UEFA CPR Campaign and will train people interested in learning Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) at the designated CPR booth in the Fan Zones.

All volunteer-related activities will be planned and implemented by the Volunteer Management team, which will look after the volunteers and ensure that everything runs smoothly and that volunteers are well provided and have a unique experience beyond their assignment. The team also deals with training, shifts allocation, manages the Volunteer Centre/Hub and takes care of the catering and the volunteer culture.
The Volunteer Management Volunteers are the link between the Volunteer Management and the Volunteers. They will support the Volunteer Management Team in organisational things, coordinating the Volunteer Centre/Hub and will have the function as contact person answering questions and helping other Volunteers. Allrounder (ACE) volunteers will fill gaps in case volunteers are missing and/or help out where there are constraints.

The Youth Programme takes care of the children participating in the pre-match protocol as well as Ball Kids, both before and during matches.
Volunteers support the Venue Commercial Operations team on-site and will be responsible, in cooperation with Sponsor-Appointed Chaperones, for welcoming, briefing, entertaining, and accompanying these children on matchdays.
